If someone tries to explain to you “state capture” in a “deeper” way after his running mate failed, then most likely they don’t know what they’re talking about.
Baba should just have attended this debate and focus on talking more about his party’s manifesto than trying to throw jabs at Ruto. Maybe that would have saved him kidogo than choosing to avoid being on the same stage with William altogether. He has disappointed a lot of people

I have a feeling Raila will attend, he is playing games, only to appear at the last minute.
Him evading the debate helps his case.
Raila is a poor liar, he is less eloquent and his age means he would strain standing for almost 2 hours.
Ruto, however, is among the greatest liars the Kenyan political scene has ever produced. He is articulate and like Gachagua, he is a master of stirring up emotion, not reason, among the masses. He would’ve outclassed (as majorly perceived) Raila outright.
