1966 Kenyatta kicks Jaramogi from Government and KANU.

1969 Kenyatta detains Jaramogi and bans KPU.

1998 Raila Odinga joins KANU and helps Moi cling to power with a promise that Moi would help Raila become president in 2002.

2002 Moi imposes Uhuru Kenyatta on KANU and kicks Raila from KANU.

2002 Raila declares Kibaki Tosha and hopes to become president through Narc.

2003 Kibaki kicks Raila from Narc and Government.

2008 Raila joins Kibaki in a coalition Government hoping to succeed him in 2012.

2013 Kibaki makes Uhuru president.

2018 Raila joins Uhuru to fix Ruto hoping to be made president.

It will end in tears!

Miguna Miguna can serialize the Odinga “failures” all he wants. But the truth is that Raila is sitting pretty eating sausage and hand check in Kenya; while Miguna is a squatter in cold cold Canada.

Bottom line is that Raila has worked with successive regimes while Miguna has miserably failed to work with people

I dunno about his dad. But I think Raila’s biggest motivation is money. Just check how ODM “nominations” are handled. If we make that assumption I think it’s his supporters who have been making wrong calculations, cause the guy has done well for himself on that end over the years. If reports of what he got to betray his team are true, then the dude has done extremely well for himself.

Luo Nyanza has badly lagged behind the rest of the country because Luos are utterly incapable of thinking beyond Raila Odinga.

Devolution finished Kalonzo once Kambas realised they didn’t need him in order to get basic services. Luo governors realised that they could be as incompetent or as murderous as they wanted provided that they committed county money to the Ojinga family private purse. In fact the only Luo leader who built his constituency without Ojinga worship was the late Ken Okoth, who unsurprisingly was nearly rigged out in favour of an Ojinga brat in 2017.

Raila practices Moi style politics whereby you can only rise up the ranks at his behest. Any success you enjoy in the political arena must be owed to him. Is it any wonder he has tension with Obado? But Moi at least tried to help his people. He made them into an amorphous group called the Kalenjin, akawamwaga kwa jeshi, polisi na parastatals. He built schools and training colleges in the rift. He TRIED.

Raila just uses Luos. He incites them to violence, uses them as a meat shield then coerces the government into giving him goodies so he can shut up about their atrocities and scandals. If Jaramogi woke up today and saw the hardcore capitalist thug that his son has become, he would die of shame.

But try say that shit in Kisumu or Kibra. Those dim eyes will lynch you for speaking ill of Jakom.
