So as a hasora here in nairofi nimeona actions zingine zimeniwacha with too many questions than answers
Siku moja went to a chemist nikauziwa dawa flani 300 Bob after two weeks nikapitia the same chemist nikauziwa the same dawa by somebody else @ 370
2.kuna hii local yangu nakunywanga bei ya povu ni standard but kuna makali Leo nauziwa 380 kesho nauziwa 450 na mrembo mwingine
Kuna duka hapa tao nanunuanga spares depending on ule atakusort kwanza difference inaweza fika hata by 150 Bob
Nb all these are employees so after a while I usually find the greediest alifutwa so I wonder is this the main reason we fail in business due to thieving employees ama ni nini because you even realise when the thieving employee is in charge sales za hio siku ziko down to make matters worse huyo alifukuzwa unapata kwa shop ingine working as usual
Watu wa base mtaani, mayouth wa kukata maji/kuchana mogoka, sportpesa gamblers na all you goldiggers out there, here is a thread mahali tunaeza saidika kabla christmas holiday iishe.
it is the corruption culture we have embraced and greed for quick money. you all have this friend who at the local in the evening will regale you with a hekaya how aliangukia kamzee/kamathee/fala fulani nikatengeneza zangu blah blah…hiyo ni wizi. kwanza chemist ndio terrible they look at how you are dressed and determine the price of the meds. a pill i sometimes use costs anywhere between 9/= and 15/=. One time i asked the price and was told by a mrembo 15 bob after she consulted the system but kuweka mkono kwa mfuko it was one of those days nimesahau wallet. I went for it kurudi a gentleman checked the system and told me 12 bob…
The reasons are many like low pay, lack of motivation, greed, living beyond someones salary and the kind of boss have and being worked like a dog for long hours.
It’s a very bad habit now ingrained in a large segment of our working force. Kila mtu lazima achanuke /ajichanue wherever he or she works. And in case you get one honest worker who doesn’t want to engage in the vice, they are usually derided by the others as idiots or fala.
Haya tuchanukeni basi.
Nimeenda kuuliza tecno fulani hapo nikaambiwa 12k. Nikaambia huyo msichana hio haiwezi kuwa more than 7k. akaniambia kuja tuongee. Of course I didn’t buy, but as i walked away, I thought about the owner of the business who has probably taken a loan to stock his shop, but is losing sales coz of the greed of the sales reps.
I blame the proprietor of the business. Some people start a biz with an idea that once you get an employee to run it and you have stock, from there its profits. If I were to invest in a business, I would place all sort of controls. Like one time you send your friend to go and ‘buy’ an item just to get a report of how things are run by the employee. Business is like a child, you have to take care of it
I once bought atf hapo oilibya Msa Road hapo south c for 250. I went back the next day and I got a second one at 210.
Si niliteta???! Inquire first always then buy later. Unless it’s an emergency then cut your losses.
Was also conned by a yellow yellow jioni kwa petrol station fullani aliniuza lubricant 470 badala ya 390 I later remembered my mech had warned me indirectly by quoting the real price earlier on a different day
Once needed to buy an item I expected to cost about 6.8k but on getting to the shop I found price had gone up to around 7.2k. I bargained with one of the attendants and this was the deal he offered me: he was going to sell it to me for 6.8k but would tell the owner that he’d sold for 6.6k (yaani nitampa 6.8k lakini nitapewa risiti ya 6.6k). I walked away.
