At times it’s not about the screen it’s the data inside the phone, also if you see a screen being sold at 30K then definitely the phone is worth way more so you’d rather pay a fraction to get the phone running, problem is going to quacks for repairs.

Photos, texts, notes, videos etc. Not everyone pays for cloud storage or wants to buy the same phone brand new if there’s a repair option.

I get having cloud storage but it’s different when you have to deal with hardware, I replaced my Fold 5 screen for 10K last yr, it would’ve costed me about 70-80K just that it was within warranty.

I didn’t know you have to pay for repairs when the phone is still within warranty. I had a faulty computer motherboard some years ago. When I sent it back, they gave me a brand new one and even paid for the shipping. $400 motherboard too.
In short, you got ripped off.

When it comes to Folds no one in the mainstream market does it better than Samsung, Asus is good for gaming oriented devices though…want to get that Fold 7 this week, game changer!
