In Maragua, everything is old from the buildings, people, roads, cars and stray dogs all over the place limping. Shops are stocked with old stuffs like tiger batteries, malariaquin, softa, tily cooking fat, mbakî, kîraikû etc.

Kuna time nlikuwa huko kufanya job. I couldn’t even find a modern 1 bedroom apartment, even on airbnb. Alafu hoteli huko zikona very limited menu. Unaeza tafuta milkshake ama burger town mzima unakosa.

If there are less amenities in a town, the younger population will to migrate to other towns with better amenities. Since younger people are leaving, the town is left with old wazees who outnumber the youth.
