Now UK Parliament calls Libya intervention opportunistic and irresponsible

MPs deliver damning verdict on David Cameron’s Libya intervention.

“It could not verify the actual threat to civilians posed by the Gaddafi regime; it selectively took elements of Muammar Gaddafi’s rhetoric at face value; and it failed to identify the militant Islamist extremist element in the rebellion. UK strategy was founded on erroneous assumptions and an incomplete understanding of the evidence.”

Mr Cameron claimed the intervention was necessary to prevent a massacre of civilians, but the new report says that, despite appalling human rights abuses over 40 years, Gaddafi had no record of large-scale attacks on Libyan civilians.

The report cites unpublished research by the House of Commons Library showing Britain spent £320million bombing Libya, but just £25million on reconstruction.

'The result was political and economic collapse, inter-militia and inter-tribal warfare, humanitarian and migrant crises, widespread human rights violations, the spread of Gaddafi regime weapons across the region and the growth of Islamic State in North Africa.

And those who led that campaign of lies have unceremoniously met their fate: Sarkozy out, Cameron out, and the woman below, who (in)famously and publicly celebrated the death of Gaddafi, is herself dying slowly and publicly.

let them first crucify Tony Blair…

I’m awaiting the west apologists to respond. They swear by CNN reports and think western spy agencies are perfect beings. By the way did the USA ever get weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Has Afghanistan seen peace since they showed up to bring democracy? Between their ISIS and President Assad of Syria who is a greater threat to international Peace and my favourite how is Ukraine since the CIA instigated civil coup of its Russian leaning elected government. Lucky Turkey, right now they would have been messed if it wasn’t for Russia.

Lets start from the start. Gaddafi isn’t kissin the west ass, he has a financial muscle globally, despite being a dictator he has considerably kept Libya citizens well off. He is building up the AU from nothing to a point of influence through his finances. He is fast pushing AU to a united armed agreement, integrated economy using Libya gold reserve as security. He is also funding groups which are not sympathetic to the west puppet government in middle east. Soon the west sends special forces to train extreme militants to be its revolutionary force to overthrow him, they are well equipped with military grade former soviet weapons from Poland which is now under nato. Special forces are embedded in the militants takeover of Libya, coordinating airstrikes, intelligence gathering and signal interference. Upto the point Gaddafi is cornered after being pursued by fighter jets, special forces and the militants. Somehow even the western media is there to record his last moments as he is handed over to militants to be killed. Payback is a *itch, Libya is now rubble as the militants splinter to many groups killing each other and everyone. They are now looking for any strong predictable militant leader to be the new dictator in the hope he will bring back peace even if it means he whips off his rivals and their supporters. Then you wonder why was it necessary to kill Gaddafi again!!!
