Former US President Donald Trump has sued Hillary Clinton and several other Democrats, accusing them of trying to rig the 2016 US presidential election by linking his campaign to Russia.
Mr Trump beat Mrs Clinton in 2016.
But he alleges “racketeering” and other claims, as part of an “unthinkable plot” to undermine his campaign.
Mr Trump’s campaign and transition teams were accused of conspiring with Russian agents to influence the election in his favour.

(CNN)Former President Donald Trump filed a sprawling federal lawsuit on Thursday against Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee and 26 other people and entities that he claims conspired to undermine his 2016 campaign by falsely tying him to Russia.
The lawsuit names a wide cast of characters that Trump has accused for years of orchestrating a “deep state” conspiracy against him – including former FBI Director James Comey and other FBI officials, the retired British spy Christopher Steele and his associates, and a handful of Clinton campaign advisers.

Former President Trump on Thursday filed a lawsuit against Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, and a number of other high-profile figures involved in the “nefarious” “conspiracy” to create a narrative that he and his 2016 presidential campaign were colluding with Russia. Trump’s legal team told Fox News that they are suing for tens of millions of dollars in attorneys fees, damages exceeding $100 million, and “for our democracy.”
In a 108-page lawsuit filed in the Southern District of Florida on Thursday, Trump and his legal team say “in the run up to the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts orchestrated an unthinkable plot—one that shocks the conscience and is an affront to this nation’s democracy.”
