Matatu Saccos hukuwa kama pyramid scheme with founders at the top. By now usishangae kuona most of the founders walishauza buses zao wakabaki na mbili ama tatu pekee za kufunga watu macho. Kazi yao sasa ni kukamua investors directly na through other schemes e.g bank loans, insurance, and company sacco. Late investors always get shafted. Mtu anaingiza gari Super Metro sasa huyo lazima aumie juu atajipata anafanyia company kazi tuu.
I remember in 2017 nilikuwa nimefikiria kubuy matatu Hiace so nikaenda pale Manchester Sacco. Nikaambiwa gari za founders hupewa priority kubeba. Yani mbili za members zikibeba, moja ya founder inabeba. Hiyo wakati member analipia shimo na founders wako na magari mingi. So gari yako itashinda ikirukwa kwa queue the whole day. Nikaenda pale Nuclear Investments kuwauliza pia. Hapo nikapata karata wanacheza ni new members can’t own shuttles. Shuttles are the “premium” category yenye ina fewer seats for better legroom. They charge slightly higher fares but customers love them. Ukiwa new member gari yako itatulia hapo Nyamakima siku mbili bila kubeba wakati shuttles zinabeba tuu non-stop.
I concluded that the most profitable strategy ni msee aingie sacco mpya mpya when they actually need investors and before founders waanze upuzi. Established saccos are a scam. By the time a sacco dominates a route, its too late to join.

Hapo kwa manchester sacco, sacco ilikuwa na doo, mat ilikuwa inaweka 4k daily. Shida ilikuwa moja.. ungewapatia gari.. wangeifanyisha kazi 24/7. Hapo kwa shimo ungepata kina blacky.
Super metro niliwaambia ni wezi. Wakona magari investors kama KABUKU.
Kuanza sacco you just need ten vehicles.. ni watu washikane tu.. shida ni kupata shimo pale tao. Siwezi advise new entrants wajiingize huko. Alafu.. kuna hii biz ya kutoa food stuff na kuleta na ma lorry.. wewe kama cartel hebu nichanue. Nirushe investment pale..
