Not enough.

The National Transport and Safety Authority has revoked licences of 14 drivers of Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) for flouting traffic rules in the last one week.
NTSA also cancelled Road Service Licences for eight PSVs who failed to comply with rules set for night travel and said it will start publishing names of drivers who flout road safety rules.
“The above drivers will no longer be allowed to drive public service vehicles. Further, the eight public service vehicles, whose Road Service Licenses have been revoked will not be allowed to engage in PSV business,“ the authority’s Director General Francis Meja said in a statement on Wednesday.
Out of the 14, eight drivers had their licences revoked for flouting night travel rules, while four others were found to be drunk while ferrying passengers.
One driver lost his licence for mistreating passengers and another for causing a crash due to dangerous driving.
All the revoked driving licenses were of Class “A” endorsement. Class A driving licences are specifically issued to drivers of any PSV vehicle.
Mr Meja said NTSA wrote to all PSV operators on November 30 warning them that stern action will be taken against those found contravening road safety rules that include speeding, driving while intoxicated and night travel license.
He also said they have launched investigations into a crash involving a matatu and an oil tanker that claimed four lives and left 12 passengers injured in Rangala on the Kisumu-Busia road on Tuesday.
He said the authority has so far established that the matatu driver caused the crash as he tried to overtake another vehicle.
“The Public Service Vehicle did not have a Road Service License (RSL) contrary to the public service vehicle regulations. The Public Service Vehicle inspection sticker had expired,” he said.
He said the two vehicles are undergoing further inspection before action is taken.
He urged all drivers to be responsible and observe traffic rules on the roads over the December festive period.
