I have a Toyota Noah 2.0 .
I get it out of parking by reversing then when I put it in drive and turn the wheel, It makes a funny noise. The noise disappears completely when i start my commute and only comes back the next day when I am getting out of parking. Otherwise, it runs very fine with no issues at all.
Any ideas what might be the issue?
What kinda noise? Hissing, creaking ama crunking?
What kind of noise do you get? Is it a knocking, clanking, squeaking etc. Tell us the kind of noise and probably where you perceive it from. Is it from the engine bay ama kwa wheels?
Download the workshop manual of your a car online. Then you can trace the cause and solutions for your problems from the info given by the manufacturer.
That is what I often do, nikienda kwa fundi najua exactly what am fixing and how.
Sure bet
Squerking noise from a cold start hapo kwa engine area hiyo serpentine belt. Clunking n clicking when you turn the wheels could be CV joint or ball joint. Rusha kakitu niende shot SJ curfew imeisha
clanking noise from the front wheels
Thank you.
Kuna fundi nilienda kwake when the headlamps were flickering. The guy scrubbed the some built up carbon from some electrical components and it worked but then proceeded to tamper with the Oxygen sensors ndio nirudishe gari baadaye. From that day I decided to be doing thorough research before allowing the fundis to make any changes.
How do you know you are dealing with a credible mechanic?
Ni CV tu. No worries for like a week of continuous usage. Outside that, disaster
Kazi ya kwanza anakufanyia is enough to judge whether or not he is a credible mechanic. Nilibadilisha badilisha mechs mpaka finally nikapata mmoja, a credible one, na akitengeneza gari Mimi Niko hapo actively participating kama mmoja ya mtu wake wa mkono.
Another thing, when I go to a new mech, I let them know am an engineer, and the only reason namwachia afanye hio works is because am too lazy kujicommit (get my hands dirty), pia mechs huwa na the right tools. Hivo ndio jamaa huingiwa na uwoga na anafanya the right thing-mostly under my guidance, na kama hajiamini, he would refer me to someone capable
