How is Nissan March for a first car? I am thinking of getting it mostly for town use and maybe to go to Kisumu and back in December. Please nipeeni advice kama ni gari poa and what to look out for. Nilikuwa pia nimefikiria Honda Fit but naona nalean towards March. Sidieko!!!
Tafuta a 1600cc car and above …hii tududu utaregret.
Tududu hatunanga power kabisa… na hutaget significant savings kwà fuel on long journeys …utafika kisumu almost same time na lorry. Halafu watu wa gari kubwa tunaskianga kukuharass kwà barbara making it risky for u. Mi sijali nikikugonga ju insurance itakulipa… si mimi
I have driven over 3000 kms in a relative’s Nissan March kadudu. 17.3km/l. Very low ground clearance on murram roads. If you are broke, it is a good first car lakini uweke spacers to improve ground clearance. Other than that usiendeshe mbio ikiwa na hizo spacers juu ya stability. Cheap normal car that does the job. Don’t try to overtake recklessly with a kadudu juu picking and power are non-existent. Ni gari ya very basic needs usiende kubeba cement nayo.
the march runs on three cylinders. I don’t know if its just some or all of them that are like that. gearbox fails easily. prices are good for march because you can import an ex japan for less than 500k.
You could get an honda dudu, which has more space and is more reliable or a mazda dudu which is faster than most cars in 1200-1800cc range. Toyota is also good but there is nothing exceptional about it, the hype is just too much and far from reality.
Chukua honda fit. Zina nguvu saidi, resale sawa na hazichoki ukibeba watu na mzigo. Nissan march ni gari ya kwenda supermarket tu na huku mtaani kubeba mama na watoto.safari haiwezi kamwe.
Amesema gari ni ya use in town 99% of the time and 1 annual trip to kisumu. The fact they are popular for uber means they are good cars to use kwa town. It will also take you to kisumu and back.
Why na if the driving is in nairobi atakuwa stuck kwa jam 70% of the time with the car having only one person? The march is an ideal car for city driving. Home - office - supermarket - home.
The march will cost about 500-600k while the 1500cc saloons will cost about 1.5m. Wacha a save the 1m. No need to spend an extra 1m to impress neighbours and work mates. I have friends who are struggling to clear 2.5m loans they took to buy Mercedes so that they could brag at the pub while loan-free toyotas were serving them well in the past.
