But if you’re imagining he’ll die in Jail, you’re mistaken. He’ll only serve 2 years.
A FORMER local member of
parliament has been sentenced to
154 years in jail for corruption and money laundering.
Gabriel Daudu, from central Kogi
State, was found guilty of 77
charges, Nigeria’s anti-corruption
body announced.
But the judge ruled that the
sentences would run concurrently,
meaning Dauda will only spend two years in jail, the BBC reported.
Hata hapa kenya, one day, the chicken will come home to roost. Kwanza the Governors wont die in peace. Knowing kenya, every new governor will endevour to deflect by burning his predecessor
Jailed 2 years for each of the 77 offences, giving a total of 154 years.
But hold your horses…they all run concurrently.
SO, HE’LL ONLY SERVE FOR 2 YEARS. And with “good behaviour” he may only serve for 6 months under house arrest in luxury. I’m sure our able “Governors” are making “mwakenya’s” to be used when the need arises…for it definitely will.
154 years which translates to 2 years, hapa Kenya? NYS and Eurobond thieves wanatukojolea kila siku. Other African countries are changing Kenya tunabaki nyuma.
We would be happy if the likes of Waiguru spent even a weekend at Central for starters for their blatant theft of tax payer money.
In Kenya if you are poor do not steal (disclaimer: not that I’m encouraging theft). For those in positions of power and influence, they steal as much as possible and there’s nada you can do.
