I and a few homiez have been planning an event for the last few months but a week to the event we get a call mtu akiuliza ni nani ame-authorize hiyo event at that venue. Apparently the guy we’ve been dealing with has double booked events on the same day. Phone calls ad emails have gone unanswered but finally we got a hold of him and he has tried to work something out. He hasn’t admitted liability for putting us in a fix and still anajidai juu yeye ni caretaker and is the one with the keys. He’s said he will let us go on with the event and won’t charge us for use of an alternate venue as long as we don’t take the matter further.
But what he doesn’t know is that we’ve been able to get a hold of the owner na kuna vile mjamaa anapigwa kalamu wiki ijayo. Owner doesn’t know we aren’t paying. Hii inaitwa theshana principle. We win both ways.
It’s a call for people to do the right thing, am not defending him at all.
Wish we as Kenyans can realism the power and fulfillment of doing the right things
