i was suprised when i was withdrawing money via atm Moi avenue the machine gave out less cash by 3600 .Went to their branch was told to write a letter attach the atm slip ,there were other similar complaints for that day . Was told to check today if it will be resolved .I have operated with other banks this is the first time such a thing has happened Nbk wako down
@Tiriitiondo co-op bank bank hukufanya masihara
can happen when the guys reloading the ATM put different denominations in the wrong slots, e.g. if the 100 bob note is available in the atm and its put in the 1k note slot ,you can very easily get something 400 bob instead of 4k. based on the amount you received and note denominations you can very easily figure out which denomination is in the wrong slot, and if you are a quick thinker, you can go back to the ATM and capitalize on that
true has happened to a friend so many times he is traumatized ,plus they will take you round in circles before refund
hehee…quick thinker. I would very fast withdraw 900bob a couple of times
Reminds me of a lady (from mashinani) a while back, she was withdrawing five thousand shillings from a KCB ATM in town and instead got US Dollars, aliingia kwa brach dani ku-complain, kama ni wewe ungefanya?
These are the kind of stories that make me feel like crying?
like she got 5000 dollars? uuuuuwwwwwwwwiiiiiiiiii
Jeeeeeso,ati alifanya nini?
dont trust those machine, count your money :D:D
Why then?
They are so fake.
Remember that there are cctv cameras inside ATM booths. And the evidence is used to solve many such cases
Largest US dollar note denomination is USD 100. So this would only be true if it was dispensing 100s; but we know ukiitisha 5000KES you are more than likely to get it in 1000s; so 500USD is more plausible.
Contrary to popular belief, not all ATMs have CCTV cameras
