I was rooting for Pablo despite him being a psychopathic beast and was very disappointed when they killed him. Not that I wasn’t expecting it. The made him almost seem sympathetic especially the scenes with his children and made it very easy to forget who he really was.
He is a psychopath, and one trait they all carry is a very deep grandiose notion of self-worth. It’s why even after he’s nearly lost everything instead of cutting his loses and running he still refers to Mendelin as his city.
Knowing that point where to stop count your losses and move is what breaks or make men be it in business relationships or life quitting while at the top is a very hard thing to do
if you were making like $60m a day like he was, there is no room to stop and count losses…all room is taken up by cash
