NAMWAMBA says he can’t join UHURU/ RUTO

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Secretary General, Ababu Namwamba, has denied claims that he is planning to ditch CORD for Jubilee Alliance Coalition.

Addressing a Press Conference at Parliament Buildings on Tuesday, Namwamba who is also the Budalang’i MP said he is firmly in ODM and is not going to join any other party as claimed.

The MP dismissed rumours suggesting that he is moving to Jubilee and said they are being peddled by his political adversaries who were not happy with his closeness to CORD leader, Raila Odinga.

“I will not engage internet idlers who have no knowledge of what they are talking about” Namwamba said.

Namwamba has skipped major ODM events over the past couple of months, fuelling the rumor that his allegiance to ODM is dwindling.
He shut off his critics last week when he revealed that he was on paternity leave after his wife gave birth to his third born child.

Labour Party?

Ababu is not in odm, the voters are in that movement !

Namwamba comes for one of the smallest constituencies and Luhya sub-tribes in the country. His eloquence makes him stand taller than he really is. Keep him, please.

It would be a good move for him, in the short term he would lose political clout in western but with an UhuRuto win in 2017 he would get a job in the government, by 2022 he would stand a good chance to be Ruto’s runningmate.
