We used to even alight vehicles and walk especially when they were stuck in mud. There is day we walked over 5 km hapo delamere coz the vehicle couldn’t make it with passenger weight. The road was really bad and with pounding rains it was impassable.

A104 is a new road, traces of the old one can be seen hapo gilgil. It ran adjacent. The road was excellent in the 80s and early 90s…but from there on things went south.

The next president should extend SGR from Nairobi to Nakuru to Kisumu. The Syokimau terminal should also be moved closer to Nairobi CBD for convenience sake. I have heard a lot of people complaining about Syokimau terminal.
