Nairobi is a small town with drivers used to start-stop, 5AM-10PM standard urban traffic, which is roughly 10% of what you actually need to be considered an experienced driver. Truck drivers, especially old ones are the real MVP’s on our roads.

An experienced driver can drive like this for 6 hours in one stretch, with 2 15 minute breaks.

100kph iko tu sawa on a highway

This is possible. The longest continuous drive I have undertaken was a 7-hour trip with one stopover, covering approximately 1,000 km. At some point I was doing 200 km/hr trying to catch up with the MERC and BMW boys on the highway.

You can’t do 1,000km on our roads in 7 hours. You’ll be dead within 4 hours at those speeds.

You assumed that I did that in Kenya. I was driving in SA from Cape Town to Bloemfontein.
Kenya ukijaribu anything above 120km/h utaona sayuni kwa vision.
