Used to follow Dr Arikana and PLO keenly till I realized that although they are capable of arousing a lot of vigour and indignation, what they say doesn’t matter. They have the weight of Africa’s history since the 14th Century against them.

Africa has a fckng 1.4 billion population. That is a huge market and the solution is simple. Grow free trade and manufacturing (useful goods) and tech. The rest will just follow.
