Dear Baba,
It is with a heavy heart that I accept the turn of events. As a Christian I believe that God works everything for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes.
Baba, I love you so much that words can’t describe. Baba you are my hero. This past few weeks I have watched as people from all tribes shed tears because of how much they love you. You are such an amazing person that no politician who is in this country can hold a candle to you.
I know that you are heartbroken perhaps more than we who love you. You are hurting because Kenya is your baby, and you have spent your life making Kenya great. You have slept in cold, dark cells, full of water instead of in your wife’s arms for 10 years to fight for Kenya. Your kids and wife have been thrown out in the cold because of your love for Kenya.
Baba I want you to know, on this day as you relax outside the country that since I was a child I have loved you dearly. You have been my hero. You have challenged me to forgive as you have forgiven every body who has ever hurt you. You have challenged me to never give up on my dreams no matter how old I am.
Baba, I hold you dear to my heart. You have been the president of Kenya in my heart and the hearts of many Kenyans. John Maxwell says, leadership is not position, leadership is influence and who has influenced this country more than you?
Baba on this day I affirm that you have been my president since when I was a child to this day and even when you will rest. Jesus loves you and your family. You are a righteous man who always fought against evil. Baba I know that you have suffered alot but as my fellow Christian I encourage you with the words of Apostle Paul who suffered great tribulations because of what he believed in, that he who would live a godly life must suffer persecution. That we must share in the suffering and persecution of our Lord Jesus.
I love you dearly Baba. I may never have met you and not be from your tribe but still you are my hero, always have been and always will be. In these your sunset years, please enjoy your family and draw nearer to God. I’m so proud of you. You are my hero. Remember the words of our Lord Jesus to His disciples before He left them, in this world you will suffer tribulation but find peace in knowing that I have overcome the world and now My peace I give to you, My peace I leave to you. Have peace Baba, the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. You have fought the good fight and won the race.
To my fellow Baba diehards be encouraged. If like me you wont follow the inauguration then remember Baba today, talk to your children about how far Baba has brought us, hold Baba in your thoughts and prayers. Let us keep praying for our country because Baba never gave up on his motherland and neither should we. I love you all my brothers and sisters in the war against all that holds our country back from being a great nation. Let’s keep talking and supporting the ideals of Baba. Many Baba diehards meet on Mutembei TV on YouTube from 10pm. It is now our turn to take up the mantle of fighting for what is right because Baba is now old. God bless Baba with long life and good health.
