Some fellow swapped his 1KD with 4M41 and performance wise he’s never been happier.
Mimi mtu WA range sura mbaya. Nangoja @introvert anishow a good drive train swap for hiyo beast.
Hadi dunia imekimya ni magogo imebakia ikilia “Gooo! Goooo!”
Say no more. Sold!!
Hiyo ni transmission ya SC400?
Driven the 3000cc petrol shogun. That think has some serious torque, handles well at 180kph, comfortable no body roll, poor fuel economy in town driving, poor resale value.
Lastly pajero is Spanish for “wanker”
Zii.
Defender R380.
Kuna ‘dithoro’ options?
I’ve seen several with QD32 engines.
No Range Rover should sound like that.
:D:D
Terrible.
@introvert is body swapping legal in Kenya?? Say I have a salvage here in Kenya and I source a similar new ride in Uganda change body and a few things then come back with the registered chassis in Kenya. How practical can it be or nitalala ndane??

Just don’t tamper with the chassis no.
It is legal.
Body ndio gari. You have to register it and pay necessary duty. To gava sio body umechange but engine umewekelea gari ingine
Pajeros are pretty reliable vehicles that can take any abuse. The problem has always been that owners don’t know how to maintain these vehicles. I have a 89 PAJERO has been in my family for over a decade and i must say i love this car. 4D56t engines are said to be unreliable but proper maintenance is key to having a proper working engine.
Read the owners manual, use the correct oil, correct glow plugs etc.
Service your car regularly and promptly…that is the key
Nice conversion, Id be interested in knowing how he matched that engine with the original transmission. I find the small block Rover V8 simple and more than capable.
There’s a bit of work on the bell housing.
A while back my bro preferred to use a plate to merge the two together, but there as always a slight noise on the top shaft you could discern if you were keen enough.
Nowadays with a bit of welding and lathe work you’re good to go.
