What’s so hard to fathom?! That a woman can change her mind about having children or that you as a doctor lost at least half a million for an IVF procedure. Someone I told about my interactions with that doctor told me that he wanted to be my sperm donor and I am beginning to think so because this is a man who is so dog gone busy that you spend your whole day waiting to see him but he’s still thinking about some random patient who backed down just about when he was about to begin her IVF procedure! 2-3 years ago!
One thing I didn’t like about him was that he never showed me the results of my fertility tests, he just said that there were plenty of women my age who were very fertile! I’d never tried to get pregnant naturally! So I can’t say if I was fertile or not! Other tests like counting follicles were good and all metrics gave me a clean bill of health, he was only concerned about my BMI.
The appointments turned into small talk, mostly him doing the talking about politics and every day work frustrations. After I’d waited the whole day to see him! And this went on for months, expensive tests every month and no go ahead! Here I was thinking we are running against the biological clock! Either way I thank the man for having a busy schedule because I might have made the worst mistake of my life if I hadn’t had the time to think through the consequences of my decision. The Lord works in mysterious ways.
I’m certainly not going to meet him. He needs to understand and accept that people change their minds. It’s called being human. Having a child by yourself isn’t like choosing between ice-cream or milkshake flavours - pistachio Vs faluda . It’s a huge decision with life changing ramifications. It’s time to accept and move on.
I knew shit was real when I told him I was importing sperm from Europe and he said, you don’t want some tumuzunguz and I was like I’m not paying all that money to get a black kid whom I could have gotten by just sleeping with a black guy. My entire goal of going for IVF was to get a kid with a white man. The man had never even asked me if I had ever tried getting pregnant naturally. So how was he going to understand why I was going for IVF. Anyway, he was going to make good money out of it! So why would he even ask.
Pay Dr @rexxsimba his money. You who I d have been 60 by the time your baby turns 13. No energy to stop her running around with neighborhood boys. Knees warped and all.

Every profession has a few of these characters who should be avoided..
I am a strong advocate of less invasive procedures when avoidable and allowing the body natural , healthy , holistic lifestyles and the power of the human body to do the rest.
From all our previous talk in here , you have always sounded good to go the “natural” way.

Try and overcome your past peeves , observations , opinions , disappointments , phobias , disdain , doubts or even trauma.
We all have our share of dark or painful past history.
The reality is that there is at the end of every dark tunnel a haven of peace , tranquility and fulfilling life ( ..with @Lionheart or an enchanting “Thika based Servant of the Lord”..) with whom you can create a personal “Paradise” together for all eternity.
