You all know I love Kitenge.
If you didn’t know now you know.
When in Kitenge I feel proud and solidly African. Na nikifika Jamhuri I always visit my tailor.
Clothes with identity and dignity.
I know the trend with Kenyans is “my dress, my choice” which I think is sometimes used to justify some awful style choices but you can never go wrong with a nice Kitenge.
I wore one like hiyo ya Larry sato Kwa ruracio ang got some serious compliments. Will have to buy some more. Love seeing ladies in vitenges at weddings too
Mi nilijaribu kutembea uchi wakanipeleka Port Reitz. So hii upus ya my choice sitambui. We do not make choices. We do what the society expects us to do. Conditioning kama mbwa za Pavlov
vitenges are a no go zone for me, i find them too “loud” with all those screaming colors, i wouldn’t be caught dead in one, Mwanaume ni polo shirts when its casual day
