My Conclusion Is WSR's Problems Are Tied To Those Of Museveni..

Questioned have been raised on the whereabouts of Deputy President William Ruto, with unconfirmed reports alleging that he secretly flew out of the country.

The reports have been fueled by the fact that the DP has not made a public appearance over the last four days despite his routine of robust public engagement.

There are reports the DP canceled a meeting scheduled to take place at his Sugoi, Uasin Gishu home on Friday, November 20.

ODM Spokesperson Philip Etale claimed that Ruto traveled to Uganda, a country that is experiencing a tough election period after President Yoweri Museveni’s regime arrested his main opponent - Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine.

DP’s last known detail was a three-hour meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday, November 18.

His last tweet was a condolence message to the family of the late Samuel Karanja Mbugua, the MCA London Ward, Nakuru County on Thursday, November 19.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Ruto’s aide Dennis Itumbi played cagey with the reports, declining to comment on the issue.

“I cannot tell you anything. If it needs communication then they (Ruto’s team) will communicate. And if any other person is releasing any information on Ruto let them communicate whatever they want,” Itumbi stated.

Jubilee Party Communications Director Albert Mwemusi also distanced himself and the party away from the reports, stating that they would communicate if need be.

Efforts to get feedback from DP Ruto’s spokesperson David Mugonyi were futile as he declined to comment on the issue.

Similar reports surfaced in January 2020, after the DP secretly flew out of the country. It later emerged that he had toured a thriving chicken farm in Khartoum Sudan.

In April 2018, Ruto with former Agriculture CS, Mwangi Kiunjuri visited the farm which was then rearing about 1.2 million chicken. The DP is an avid poultry farmer.
