Nairobi imepanda. Huko mashinani ndio mnapata cheap

Beef prices (all meats, poultry, fish) really depend on the cut i.e part of the animal. $5.49 is actually fairly cheap; prices could go up to $15 per pound for quality meat. It also really depends on the state and the city. Also, if you go directly to the farm, prices are less than half of what you pay at the shop.
But, with everything else going on across the globe, life in Murica is still great. Gas (petrol) prices were up to $6 per gallon a few weeks ago yet folks are happily driving their v8 and v12 trucks and sports cars.
In summary, it’s all about lanes. Kila mtu akae lane yake and stop complaining about sh*t yenye haikuhusu or you can’t afford. Ni hayo tu kwa sasa.

Kwani food stamps waliacha kupeana?

Not everyone qualifies for food stamps, and at times, you just run out before the next loading.
Plus hii time ya lockdowns, many people lost their sources of income.
The housing sector is also in a huge mess.
