I dont think you understand how business works…you cant fire everyone for every mistake…otherwise you might have to do everything yourself…you deal with mistakes as they come. Sometimes you fire, depending on the importance of the employee, and sometimes you seal the loophole. In this case, the new accountant is the loophole. She has to go, for a random reason that will not alarm the guy. It is already clear that the guy is good at his job and started messing when his booty call was hired by the boss.

Dude, three years ago I worked in a real estate firm. Daily I dealt with more complicated issues like this of a similar nature. What M4 lacks is a pecking order.
Talk of caretakers colluding with security for companies with pending rent arrears to be allowed to vacate.
Property managers colluding with suppliers to pay for non existent repairs/supplies, selling of parking space in town. Not letting ground floor space so that they can lease it to hawkers at night.

Too complicated. M4 now knows that his super-salesman has trust issues, since the kanjo story was a fake one and they were planning to obtain money to go and cavort in Malindi. Let the guy know (and show him the video grabs too!), but FIRE the chick on the spot. If he values his job, he’ll cut his losses. If he doesn’t tafuta mwingine.

Sales people don’t value their jobs. They keep signed resignation letters in their brief cases. They only write the date.
