Mpesa con in Uganda

Was recently on a swag buying spree across the border when I ran out of pocket cash. So my foolish head saw an Mpesa sign and decided to withdraw at that Agent.
Message ilisema nimewithdraw Pipeline Embakasi Near Taj Mall.
Madrefakre am in Uganda and the message reads Embakasi like tf!
Then the woria guy pulls out an S8 and withdraws from the same till and it read their stupid gibberish plus some. By now I knew I was Dfhkm of my cash.
I called a friend in Nai to help and the sht was reversed.
Never use Mpesa out of Kenya, especially not in sh
thole countries

Unlike your nywele ngumu brothers, woriah cannot con you of money.

why expose yourself to conmen ?

i have used it severallyin Uganda and Rwanda with no issues

You guys need to read up on the Hawala/Hewala (Arabic) or Xawala/Xawilaad (Somali) system of money transfer to understand why the Woriahs are getting rich geometrically while you move progressively or sometimes stagnate. The trust involved will make one give you his savings to help you move goods u-refund ukiuza…bila riba.

How enlight mapeasant wakijiji

Same here.

kuna shida gani text ikiread kibera kenya na wakupee pesa zako, shida yako ni jina ama pesa? i have withdrawn cash frm agents in nrb but the name is mwea or some other places zijawahi sikia.

Stop blaming your ulevi on people working to earn their bread. All it takes is a call to Mpesa and the transaction is reversed.

you were just too paranoid

Kwa ufupi that’s how it works in Uganda! There’s no exaggerating how those guys help business people there!

Yah, mpesa kiosks can transact from anywhere. It is something wale Communication commission should look into. Pia the process of being an mpesa agent is very opaque at Safaricom and a black market exists for mpesa agencies, probably the cause of this issue.

kuna time nilikuwa natafuta mpesa line, kwenda kwa safaricom shop wakaniambia hawapeani line niende kwa their agents, inakaa ukora ya safcom dio wacharge more, bona wasiuze wao wenyewe
