City businessman cum politician Stanley Livondo on Monday, February 21, doubled down on his claims in the alleged attempted assassination against President Uhuru Kenyatta. Livondo spoke to journalists after recording a statement with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), claiming that some of the mercenaries who had been hired to do the alleged job were willing to assist the state agencies in their investigations. He added that he had availed to the investigating agency the details of the people he believed to be part of the group including their names, registration numbers of the vehicles they use, and how they operate. He also claimed that the purported plan spread across international borders.

“I have given them (DCI) all the information including the number plates of the vehicles they use, where they hide, how they move and communicate and how they implement their plans,” he stated.

Livondo noted that the information he had shared would help the DCI officers to investigate and start fishing out the individuals from their hideouts in the coming days.

“That threat will be neutralized any hour from today. They will be picked up one by one, including those who have tried to eliminate witnesses.
It is a big thing that even involves the church” he declared.

The businessman opined that some of the individuals and witnesses were willing to testify, provided that the government needed to provide security for them.

While downplaying any fears for his own life, he also dismissed that his allegations were politically instigated, stating that he only had concerns for the Head of State.
“I am not vying for any seat, but it is my right as a patriotic Kenyan to give a report regarding any threats to the security of the President.
That is my responsibility as a citizen. As to the timing, it will become clear when the agencies start apprehending these people” he noted.

He added that he would be recording a second statement later this week on Thursday. The DCI had summoned Livondo over remarks he made on February 19 during Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria’s thanksgiving ceremony, where he claimed that there had been two separate attempts to assassinate President Kenyatta.

Livondo reportedly showed up at DCI headquarters ahead of time and was questioned by officers.

Mr Livondo said that he had offered the DCI all the information he had over his sentiments.
“I have given them all the information they wanted. This includes names and the plot I alluded to during the rally.
i have also asked them to protect the witnesses, given the sensitivity of this matter,” Mr Livondo told journalists outside the DCI headquarters along Kiambu road, in Nairobi.

A notice to compel him to honour the summons states that the unit is conducting an inquiry into his comments at Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria’s homecoming and thanksgiving ceremony at Thika stadium.

The former Lang’ata parliamentary candidate’s lawyers noted that the tycoon did not have any case to answer and that he was only called to give evidence.

Kuria, who had convened the Saturday event, took to his social media to point out that Livondo’s remarks were reckless and instructed the DCI to summon the businessman to defend his claims.
“As the convener of the thanksgiving prayer meeting in Thika, I may not be responsible for what speakers said but it was my meeting and I have to take responsibility.”
“I have requested the DCI boss George Kinoti to summon Stanley Livondo following his reckless statement,” Kuria stated.

Uhuru’s attempted assasination was probably the last bullet in the smear propaganda campaign against Ruto . and it failed miserably . could there really be more?

Where will Stanley Kivondo run when Arror takes power

Some statements are best left unspoken I am sure Uhuru has access to top intelligence.
If Arror had pulled such shiet, he would no longer be DP

I’ve heard rumours that Vp Kibaki messed up Moi’s plane as he was to travel abroad .Moi found out before travelling and he instead sent Kibaki to represent him, knowing the plane would crash Kibaki killed his father to avoid going on that trip.

Why didn’t he go public before this rally? If he has all those details wouldn’t he have gone to DCI directly?

Why did the nicompoop kuria give him the podium?

we can all see everything here was planned.

He hasn’t been for a while now

He was given that shiet by state house to say, the same way Linturi was sent to poop on Ruto:s parade
