Kasongo gov has not affected my personal life in any noticeable way, in fact my life has improved significantly since 2022.
The only thing ni kelele mingi from my kenyan friends who cant seem to get enough of the president(always talking about him).I deleted my twitter account before Uhuruto and dont watch any ‘news’ so i am happily ignorant about it.
Even my uncle who lost his ngo job during gifaki era na kunguru wife akamtoka still blames the Sugoi man for his misfortunes.
Mimi niliacha kuwatch news when Ruto became president. Mimi hata simtambui so I have shielded myself from negative opinion. Ruto presidency has not affected me in anyway, infact sikuhizi i feel like my life is much better compared to Uhuru’s time.
Its interesting how news addicted people overthink that policies enforced to the whole country affect their life as an individual, i would rather consume @Sanchez11 news za kuacha pombe na simps kuona dust, things i can relate to.
Tell that to all the young men and women murdered by this regime. Watu wameuliwa bana. So painful, I cannot support a government that kills poeple for tweeting.
Oddly enough I agree. My life has improved more than significantly in the last year or so, Arror notwithstanding. Nmefika point I don’t really care who’s president. President is who Kenyans collectively agree is what they’re like. Who am I to defy their collective will?
Human rights groups estimated that police were responsible for approximately 1000 extrajudicial killings between 2008 and 2012, 200 of those cases, there was credible evidence of police involvement, according to civil society groups. The government took only limited action to hold accountable security forces suspected of unlawfully killing citizens.Kenyans forget quickly. The difference now is the widespread use of portable cameras and the large number of people on social media so some cases can be recorded and the news spreads like wildfire.
