Most inmates in central region have been convicted over sexual offences, prisons officials have revealed. Those convicted for such crimes constitute 39 per cent of all prisoners. Statistics from the Children’s Department also show that in the past two years, between 10 to 20 cases are reported either to the police or the children’s department every month. This is an increase of about 50 per cent. Previously, the cases were ranging from five to 10 per month. Speaking at the King’ong’o prisons in Nyeri, Officer in Charge Patrick Arandu said that out of 745 convicts, 290 of them have been found guilty of rape and defilement. “
More than 90 per cent of the cases involve close relatives like fathers, uncles and even grandfathers. “We have inmates here who are over 70 years old and found guilty of defiling relatives,” Mr Arandu said while addressing inmates and the Court Users’ Committee (CUC) during a legal aid session

They should probably introduce new progressive cultures like wife inheritance, child brides, sibling/cousins marriages, sleeping with corpses… and other such like cultures from other communities and then the rates of sexual offenses might come down

You want to say that most dudes in the central region are either…
