Fake news from George Soros. Mombasa has been here for billion of years.

Uliangalia profile ya Ft Jesus. Na hao wavuvi vile wanasema? Na hizo hoteli zilifungwa na Soros.

wange leta waititu awa advice how to divert the ocean ni vile tu pwani si Kenya !

Hao wakipewa pesa ya kichuri hakuna kitu hawawezi sema. NGO are scam.

Lakini ulijionea hiyo profile ya Ft Jesus na macho zako?

I don’t watch George Soros propaganda.

Mjamaa hi Kiswahili yote unaongeanga hapa haujawai tembea Ft Jesus. Ama hauna hizo soo mbili za gate .?

Mombasa, kwale, kilifi & Malindi is ok. Tana river ndiko kuna shida ya silt from tana river making the coast line depth to be shallow, the way it happened in the southern part of lake Naivasha, ilibidi some lower parts of estates Kama kihoto zimezwe.

Yangalikuwa yameongezeka, bila shaka overflow ingekuwepo sasa hivi.

Acha NGO na ntv watafute Donor funds.

Allow me to respectfully disagree. I used Ft Jesus as a visual reference point, but the whole coastline of 600km is in trouble. In fact has been trouble for a while. They have sea level data from the 80s ( using tide gauge gate data) which shows it’s been rising steadily. The whole of East cost included. In fact ata serikali had started sounding warnings more than 20years ago before this whole climate change movement was making noise.

During my stay in Mombasa. First time kumenyesha heavy rain I thought that the ocean itajaa na maji ispill over. Kuna Mzee niliuliza tukitoka Kwa ferry. He told hata kunyeshe aje haiwezi jaa. Hio level hubaki hapo.

Meeeeehn Naivasha Kisumu zimekuwa zikienda na hatupigi kelele. Kwanza Kisumu maji ilimeza base yangu fiti Impala eco lodge na sikuja kupiga kelele

Kelele haiwezi pigwa kwa wasee vichwa ngumu. But coast sinking greatly affects tourism. That’s why you hear it.

Naivasha Kisumu haina tourism?

As much as coast?

Comparably, in Varsha it’s the 2nd

Is Naivasha due to the Lake? Coz those ripirian lands are supposed to isolated.

The riparian land was not interfered with.

I think due to overpopulation, a lot of human activities in the estates( mijengo ya majumba, nyumba, hotels, rentals, vibanda, flower farms, takataka from estates na mengineo) loosens the top soils so during heavy downpour, water erosion carries all that soil + takas to the lake making it shallow and since the big volume of water must find it’s space beyond the reduced normal carrying capacity, some plots must be sacrificed.
River malewa which is the inlet carry a lot of sand from other eroded areas ( resulting from silty streams feeding it) which makes the lake shallow too.

Miti & grass cover should be planted to hold the soil particles intact or else the situation will be worsening annually.
