I have seen a YouTube video where the owner of Mombasa Cement claims to use over 300m a month on CSR. He has enumerated the projects he does.
My question is how much money do these companies make to enable them to become small Governments.

Hapo kwa 300 m a month amedanganya. Ameharibu society mombasa kuzoesha idlers chakula free badala ya awapatie vibarua wafanye ata kama ni kufanya usafi kwa public spaces. watu wanasema cement yake ni cheap juu haongezi iron oxide
Cunt relate
What about the schools he runs? The largest school for disabled kids?
Iron oxide only adds color to cement.
io ni project poa, shida yangu huwa kuona watu in their hundreds hapo kibarani wametoka kupokea chakula na wanapitia mahali chafu, wanaenda kukaa idle wakingoja waendee chakula tena.
Heri angekuwa analipa watu ata 300 per day wapande miti, wasafishe izo slums wanaishi na wajibuyie food, badala ya kupeana bure.
County governments zinalipa workers wake less than 300 million monthly na unaona io mishahara ikifanya kazi kwa zile towns workers wanaishi.
Huyu anasema anaspend 300 million monthly na chenye tunaona ni juice na mkate tu.
3.6B on the balance sheet reducing taxes…
The guy is too big. You remember he is the one who refurbished Kibarani Dumpsite. Mpaka mwisho. Mpaka Joho had to recognize him when Uhuru was unveiling the project.
Vile @sani anasema ikizingatiwa inaweza kuwa project mzuri sana
Pia anapeanga @sani drinking water kwa tambla from a bouser pale kwa ferry on the island side. Ana moyo smart indeed.
What are his profits kwa Balance sheet. If bigger players like Bamburi are making very small profits
Hizo maswali za chuki silete kwa max 150 utapigwa bare.
Watu wanampenda sana
If he does all that shiet ya’ll say he’s doing then he’s probably trying to build a good name so he could run for governer or something. I don’t believe any billionaire engages in charity out of the goodness of their own hearts. I’ve never heard of this guy until ile interview ya sijui analipa birrions kplc.
@Ubongo I agree. And I hear he even does so much work behind the scenes and county takes credit.
They do $180m a year in revenue. That’s $15m a month. Approx Kshs. 2B every month. So 15% tithe in CSR projects is how they avoid paying tax on full profit.
CSR is not tax deductible according to rules za KRA, hamjui kile mnasema.
Lakini hapo pa 300m monthly amedanganya toto jinga
Not your CSR for growing trees in Karura. Development projects such as the “largest school for special needs?” Donating to Treasury approved projects is tax deductible.

Dangote is opening two cement plants in Mombasa. The muhindi will have some serious competition.
Shida ya huyu mateja more than building schools
To feed more than 300 people unga 2kgs, cooking oil, rice 2kgs.
If your family has a whole team mko sawa kila mtu package.
But lazy Coast people would say…
Huyo anawakula kichini chini
