To me the definition of shiny eye is anyone with a “got to make it attitude”, and will pull both legal and illegal strings without a care for the consequences to make that paper.
For instance @captain obvious to add to your thread on Kenyan education here is a prime example. Juu serikali or governor or even mayor of this area anaelewa that Kenyan travellers get thirsty by the time they reach this place, in the west these govt leaders would set up a KCC dairy right there near the road for free to serve these traders!
They would hook up local farmers with these sellers because these sellers are not bad people, they are just traders looking for something for their kids. They are rightful Kenyan citizens even though they are poor.
The govt would also build a milk lane for people to slow down and buy milk and drive off.
That would happen in Holland, Japan or South Korea… in Kenya Uhuru would look for a FOREIGN INVESTOR to come in and assist govt in setting up a dairy i.e CODEWORD for looting taxpayer money.
The Indian or China man will come in and build a dairy for billions of corrupt dollars. The Kenyan govt will then send in GSU to chase away these traders because they are “obstructing traffic” and disturbing the foreign investor. All week there would be running battles and death. Juu Mungu halali the Chinese dairy will collapse. TheChina man would run away with Kenya’s kshs 2 billion. In the end the project becomes just another mega billions corruption scandal. The dairy will remain unused forever. Some Kenyans will live in wheel chairs because their spines were snapped by eager GSU.
That is Kenya for you.
He is in the wrong company… Probably jamaa wa kupack
