PLEASE NOTE AND BEWARE OF THIS NEW DEVELOPMENT
Due to the regular traffic jams in Nyali and its surrounding.
Yesterday a meeting was held to find a suitable efficient solution for smooth movement of Traffic in Nyali Constituency.
The prone areas were spotted that are the major cause on the traffic congestion.
The members from The Kenya Police - Traffic Department & County Inspectorate, looked at all the proposals for a better flow of traffic.
It was therefore proposed and agreed as below…
“Taking effect from Monday 25th June 2018”, the morning traffic will be as usual.
However the evening traffic shall be controlled from 4.00pm - 7.00pm as follows.
• Traffic from Kengeleni to Cinemax shall be in Two Lanes.
• From Cinemax it will reduced to One Lane.
• The Umoja Estate Junction will be One Way Traffic
• This means that vehicles will only be Entering that Road from Fiddle Odinga Road, NO VEHICLE WIL BE ALLOWED TO EXIT from Umoja Estate onto Fiddle Odinga Road Junction.
• Links Road will be a ONE WAY all the way to MAMBA Round About.
• NO VEHICLE WILL BE ALLOWED DOWN THE ROAD FROM MAMBA TO FIDDLE ODINGA ROAD FROM 4 PM - 7 PM
• All motorists will be required to take the road from Mamba Round About into Beach Road,
until Nyali Beach Junction,
Take the Left Turn onto Moyne Road,
Drive down past Nyali Police Station,
sharp Right corner joining Fiddle Odinga Road,
then they will have to turn into Exhibition Road on the 2nd Left Turn,
just before the BP Petrol Station on links Road.
• After Turning into Exhibition Road,
Take the 1st Turning on The Right (MKOMANI ROAD), Its a Cabro Road, drive through to the Silo’s,
Turn Right,
drive down straight past Tamarind,
to Rock Wall Junction,
Joining the Fiddle Odinga Road,
turn Left to go towards Kengeleni.
