Kajiado North Member of Parliament Onesmus Ngogoyo was on Monday, December 16, summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for allegedly making controversial remarks.
Ngogoyo had on Sunday, December 15, during a church service attended by former DP Rigathi Gachagua , criticised the government urging the Head of State to focus on delivering his promises to Kenyans rather than intimidation.
Ngogoyo’s summoning comes a fortnight after detectives summoned Kiambu Senator Karungo Wa Thangwa over the Limuru funeral mayhem, in which Gachagua was an attendee.
Karungo was summoned to the Nyeri DCI offices to provide information that would assist detectives in investigating the incident where the former Deputy President was targeted.
