Huu ni upuzi. Spending billions of dollars yet majority of the population are wallowing in poverty. They should focus on the things that matters. Americans, Russians and indians wanafanya tu upuss. My opinion though…

Did you bother to check the facts?? The entire space mission cost less than the movie Interstellar, sio hizo billions unasema. India got to the moon cheaply na niko sure hiyo ndiyo inauma beberu sana juu curry munchers can do it better and cheaper. Budget ilikuwa $75 million. That’s the cost of just one Gulfstream G700 which is peanuts for a large economy like India.

..and now my simple question. How does that improve lives? Hii kitu sioni maana yake juu sioni binadamu akihamia huko.

The reason why tuko nyuma Africa ni juu leaders wako na akili kama yako. You do not value research and development. Hii ndio hufanya muafrika akuwe nyuma kila wakati.

Space missions are too expensive and risky for companies and individuals to do. That’s why only governments can afford to do such projects. Huwezi sema every last cent itatumiwa kusaidia peasants juu peasantry is part of human nature hata wakitumia hiyo pesa yote it wont make a dent on poverty in India. I am sure they spend billions of dollars already in important poverty reduction programs so spending a mere $75 million on research wont hurt.

Do you know large companies like microsoft, google, meta, etc spend billions of dollars in research and development. You as a consumer huona tuu the successful ones yet they have hundreds of failed ideas and projects that they test every year.

Read History and you will learn how the masses (Dutch East India Company) financed explorers like Columbus (Spanish elite) to venture into the unknown world. That’s how Europe became a super power because they ventured out hawakukaa wakifikiria kila wakati juu ya local peasants. Peasants will always be there and you cant end poverty completely because it is a relative state. Venturing to the new world was a better use of their money because it eventually increased the living standards of every european especially peasants.

Space exploration today ni kama tuu hizo ancient voyages Europeans had in the 1400s. Nobody knew whether the sailors would return and the voyages were too risky for a single person to fund. Therefore, the general public financed the voyages and the personal risk was minimized.

How does this improve lives? We don’t know yet but if the Indian government does 100 such high-risk high-reward projects, one of them will certainly improve lives and pay for the 99 failed ones and then some.

Which binadamu? It ain’t the government telling them to birth like swines , binadamu hawezi saidika chief if you continue thinking about helping binadamu you will be disappointed. There is a reason why things are as they are . There must be scavengers and prey .

 space exploration is a waste of time and energy. Hio pesa wakule tu.

This may be related or not but its similar. Instead of sorting out issues of poverty at home yuess would rather spend that money in distant lands in losing wars.

Let indians spend their money vile wanataka. Ni pesa yao. Mkoloni afagie kwake kwanza. Its filthier there than the ganges.
