Mistakes at Work

I’m a career mongrel. I toil for THE MAN. I’ve been at my current position for a year and with my employer for two.
This week, job imenipeleka mbio hadi I’m losing hair. I go to work early and leave late. Sasa the situation I’m in is I feel like I’m not upto the job mainly due to errors of omission by other departments because i depend on them to provide information which i use for my tasks. My attention to detail inakaa ni kama inalegea especially because I work with very smart people like akina @Okiya, @Nanaimpa and @introvert types.

As a professional, I’d feel that one can’t pass the buck. My question is how does one deal with such situations?

Naamkia mashida leo kazini.

Just take a break, go on holiday or something, it’s always a sign of fatigue when you start making silly mistakes which you normally wouldn’t, if you keep at it you will start making more mistakes than useful work.

Mseh unacomplain kuhusu works na sai kuna watu wanapiga mguu wanaenda industrial area in search of a job which hawako sure watapata.

Saw a clip juzi where like 200 Pple wako pale industrial area kwa gate waiting for a job. Kidogo some supervisors come out and call out watu wana skills fulani na fulani. Out of the 200 only ten are picked.

Some of the unlucky ones wanabaki hapo nje and when asked why, they said ati wanangoja pengine mtu apo ndani awe mgonjwa or apate injury and a replacement is needed.

So msee vumilia mahali uko…“its not an easy road”<<<buju banton

Vile @jimmy_m amenena hapo juu, take a break and recharge. At one point I used to be one of those who would toil diligently from January to January so I could sell my leave days but it started to take a toll and fatigue bled onto my work.
Halafu @introvert and ‘smart’ haziambatani.

You need to work smart. Working hard is never its equivalent.

Surround yourself or forge alliances with “A” grade performers (go-to person/people) in the other department to lessen your stress and errors. By the time the work gets to your desk it will be a breeze.

Hakuna mahali nimesema hii job sitaki. Kazi lazima nichape. Shida za kazi hata huko industrial area ziko.

Hehehe.
Humbled.

Change how you do your work. Change sitting position or change the pattern.change something little

unasema stress…this december am forced to work double shifts with only 1 day off a week na sikutaka kwangu. Kumbe my wajeru workmates booked early off days 4 the month of December. nafika home 3am alafu by 9am nisharauka nimetoka kwenda wax(repeat) But on the brighter side nitapata many working hours this month which = more euros pale bank. All i can say my xmas is gonna be lit

Shida yangu ni tofauti and that is why you can’t relate and keep mentioning industrial area. Wewe unafanya kazi ya shift. All you need to do is show up.

Hapa Kenya kuna watu wanafanya kazi ambayo makosa moja inafanya watu 200 walale njaa.

I call it the breakdown. It’s actually fatigue. Current employer ameninyima leave from last year so come this year August everything failed, i wanted a break like nobody’s business but i got none. So when the breakdown started, i couldn’t even go to site or make follow up calls. I spent the next 3wks with a simple project totally confused, non committed lazy and dumb!
Take a break, ni muhimu sana.
