Milele FM

This radio station only plays Bongo music and brings up mbotch topics (witchcraft, incest, kuibiwa nyota) and suchlike rubbish.

Why do Radio Africa stations all read from the same script?

What else do you want them to discuss? the study of continental tectonic plates movements in the prediction of earthquakes? They discuss what bonobos want to hear and that’s why they are in business.

Why can’t they stick to normal gossipy topics like other stations? I normally don’t listen to radio out here, but with fundis around, I’ve had to have something playing in the background and Milele FM is the default. Shit topics and bongo music all day gives me a migraine.

Target ni wasee wa ocha…kila radio station iko na different target audience. Hata Kiss walishukisha standards to survive…classic FM ndio naona ina target stable people. You can tell by the kind of commercial advertising played. Huko kiss utasikia all about Gilbeys and local concerts/ clubs so target ni vijanaa wako nrb n middle class wannabes, Classic utasikia some serious adverts like LG electronic adverts, car adverts some serious shiet…nayo MileleFM mostly ni cheza tatu bets na those hook up shows za wasee wa ocha…mostly ni single mothers wako ocha wanapatanishwa na shamba boys na wasee wa mjei…not hating though

Yes, it’s very funny listening to bodaboda logbook loans and ajab flour in areas where people have posho mills and view tractors as the minimum for being respected as a made man. :joy:
