It’s a high time we start analysing what our Governors need to make counties functional.
For instance, Nairobi was planned in the 70’s, almost everything was in place for it to become a modern city. Then came the massive land grabbing,from the 70’s to date.
For the city to function properly, this grabbed land ought to be repossessed. Is Sonko up to the task.

Sonko doesn’t conform to the system … the system is forced to accommodate him. Sijui ni kamuti, brilliance, luck or fate but he has better chances of seeing statehouse than the self proclaimed prophets, fruits, flower girls, land grabbers…of this land.

To me, Sonko is an example of poor leadership. We (Kenyans) need leaders and systems that work & can be emulated. Giving handouts is not a way forward. Leaders who “saidia” is not the way forward. Guys who play to be odinarii, kauzi, mjanja etc type are not forward thinking leaders. We need people who do their work and can set an example to be followed, not “saidia”. You are employed by the people, so work! If giving handouts & doing favors is what you concentrate on, you’ll only think like that, not think of having systems that work & self sufficient people. Wakubwa, what do you think of Mike Sonko?
Will the system allow him to run for presidency in future? Will his bubble get pricked soon?
its alleged he is a fugitive with fake IDs , documents he acquired after escaping from shimo la tewa.
Lets say after winning Nairobi gubernatorial race , he cleans the city, builds drainages, makes clean water affordable &accessible, increases handouts to slum dwellers, builds light rail etc etc
Then he takes a stab at the presidency later and wins , will the military agree to a fugitive being their commander in chief?

Yes…I think he would actually make a good president. The military can’t do shit about nothing. Kenyans wakiamua wameamua.

True. What ails Kenya is lack of institutions. I’ll give an example, The late Mutula Kilonzo Senior and Michuki cleaned up Nairobi river. The river now has, visibly, more sewage than during the time of mawaziri waliotuacha. If we had the institutions, the river would be clean right now. Institutions are not built in a day or by one individual. It takes time.

Five of us,Miguna is the only solution to Nairobi,as someone said wearing a suit does not change your brains,Sonko was rated one of the worst perfoming mp and presently he is one the worst performing Senators,he has not brought a valuable motion to change Nairobi as senator and has not taken Kidero to task over corruption,he has also been grabbing land, expecting a miracle from Sonko is insanity-doing the same thing and expecting different results,too bad Kenyans never learn
