Personally I prefer goat meat but I can get a very healthy kienyeji Jogoo for Kshs 1,800 that weighs 3.5kg or higher. Apana shtua sisi na fatty broilers buana..

Juzi nilikula nyama ya kanga (wild guinea fowl) pale kwa ranch and I swear the damn thing tastes better than chicken .. well, at least to me.. it did. I know our resident luhya cook there is one hell of a good cook, especially with his chicken.. but that kanga meat tasted alot better. Even my woman and daughter didn’t realize it till after the fact.. when I eventually told em’. Which I regretted doing cause it got me into alot trouble with my daughter; she gave me shit for days about it. I was like chill girl .. it’s guinea fowl, it’s exotic stuff , a delicacy. That didn’t go to well. She lectured me on why we shouldn’t be eating exotic birds and wild animals.Ati why we have chicken and what not. They even gave away two that I had brought with me and stashed away in my freezer. Mukasa the cook aliingia nyasi vile mambo ilichemka. Regardless.. that’s now one of my favourite dishes. Tho’ I might have to partake in it alone. Y’all should try it …tamu kuliko sunguch
