Probably she has taken the photo with a refurbished third hand iPhone. They survive on madeni to floss to strangers who don’t give a fuck about her existence.

Huyo maisha inamsumbua sana, Anapost then watu wakimwambia alifanya ujinga ansema its her 110 bob. Surely anapost juu ya 110! that one needs to grow up, maybe atahama kutoka bedsitter and afford a fridge.

It took a minute kujua ni hizo mixed veges.

But… are you aware that you fall into the middle-class category? Nearly every elder here, including those who criticize individuals in that bracket (elder kama @Lord_Wanaruona, OP and @Wachaikae—falls within it too). I’m part of it as well unless we spend 184k or more every month. Hata @ndovu ako hapa kwa hii category, ya mido-crass but atakuja hapa na kusema middle class wame fanya, wametenga na kuwapiga ma upper cut.

Sukuma ikikatwa, it undergoes a drastic change. When shredded, chemical reactions occur that produce the characteristic smell. Sukuma are best stored uncut and should only be cut before cooking…

So the shredded sukuma she bought were not rotten and they were good to eat.

Wacha wivu. All sukuma will “stink” after cutting. Only trick is to cook it promptly after cutting. So wacha kuleta upus ya iphones, fridges, bedsitters etc.

It has nothing to do with Quickmatt. Hata kwa nyumba if you cut sukuma and leave it for long without cooking especially when covered they will have that sulphur smell. However most people cut sukuma and leave it exposed and the sulphur compounds escape into the air and that is why the smell is not very noticeable unlike in the sealed Quickmatt containers and your cooler box.

Kales and other brassicas have evolved a natural defense mechanism whereby when plant tissues are injured they produce compounds that have that characteristic smell to deter feeding by herbivores, insects etc.

Hata kama uko na rangerover, you need to be learned like me to understand these things.

Without ignoring the fact that people have preferences when consuming and buying stuff… i can never buy greens from the supermarket… at least mama mboga akikuuzia kitu mbaya utakuja 2nd day umpige msomo na akuongezee nyanya mbili to console you…

Middle class inanzia 24k hadi 120k. So wewe sio peasant, ama lower class.

Let me support my argument with statistics.

According to the Kenya Bureau of Statistics, the lower class bracket in Kenya is considered to be households earning no more than approximately Ksh 23,000 per month.

Any household with an income between Sh23,000 and Sh120,000 is in the middle-class bracket. Incomes above that place households in the upper class.

By “nyanya mbili”, unamaanisha nyanya-nyanya na si kitu ingine?

Point of correction watu self made hayuko kwa any category. We do our things in silence not awaken kamati ya roho chafu.
