Mexico: Trump's First Boot-in-mouth

Trump is carrying on like a mad dictator, signing a decree per day and waving them in the air like a five year old doing finger paintings.

Following that one ordering the 2000 mile wall and reiteration of the ‘Mexico will pay’ assertion, a planned meeting between Trump and Pena next week was suddenly cancelled, … by Mexico.

Trump’s press people later announced the ‘alternative fact’ that Trump had cancelled.

It will be an exhilarating (pun intended) first 100 days.

The affects of some of these edicts will come with a huge force, and each one might trigger adverse results in areas Trump has not taken time to understand.

Example: China is a cheap manufacturing nation because there are no environmental controls, but pollution there is worse than it was in the US steel, and coal belts before EPA.

and he got to know it through twitter, his favorite channel… then he came up with an alternative fact that it was mutual agreement.

@Nattydread people thought The Donald was joking when he made promises on the campaign trail. He’s barely a week in office and he has carried through some of those promises. Now to your point, The Donald said he will build a wall and Mexico will pay. The wall will be built and Mexico will pay. And that’s the bottomline coz the Trump said so!

OK. Brilliantly argued, no getting around that.

Trump is a riddle waiting to be solved, he contradicts reason in more ways than one.

Let the U.S. retreat from the world stage, and leave a Vacuum for China to fill in a few decades China will be calling the shots even in the middle East… the Geopolitics then will be interesting.

Right now, Asia is China’s for the taking after the dismantling of TPP

Actually, I believe that Trump will eventually drop this child-like approach to his new role after realizing that the world is not like a sleekly produced episode of The Apprentice.

He will then let people with more understanding of diplomacy and geo-political dynamics shape the execution of his policies.

His midnight Tweeting will soon cease, or be subjected to strict editing.

Hopefully and that is a best case scenario, but would someone that discredits even intelligence briefings from experienced agents agree to listen to qualified technocrats?

Asiyefunzwa na mamaye, …

But if you set aside your bias and political affiliations you will agree that trade between Mexico and the USA has no balance. Mexico gets to flood the US with their goods and but tax american products. The most common car on mexican roads is not a Chevrolet, its is a fcukn Toyota. I am with Trump on this standoff

And by the way, didn’t Bernie Sanders propose a similar thing? i.e kill NAFTA, TPP etc ?

Trump’s war against “radical Islam”(whatever that means) is a war Trump cannot win because it’s a war against an ideology, much like America’s failed attempt at defeating communism.
