Men too are Human

The world has been so judgey about men, we have refused to acknowledge that they too are human and that they break too.

I am sorry.

I’m sorry that they have been silenced their entire lives. I’m sorry that most have been taught they are not entitled to their feelings; to their pain and that their tears are unnatural. I’m sorry they weren’t hugged as much as their sisters. I’m sorry that majority of them have been left to figure it out all on their own. I’m sorry when I see them left to carry everyone else and that meant putting themselves down.

To most of us, men shouldn’t cry. Men don’t talk. Men don’t feel. Men don’t care.

I now understand why they can’t be there for women - no one has ever been there for them after-all.

I get the internalized anger.

Cry in your own way boy child. Even if it looks like rebellion. Cry. I get it. Beat your chest until the tears flow and you feel numb.

AFTER THAT, HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH, YOU ARE THE MAN! WE ALWAYS COME OUT STRONG!

Mwanaume ni kucheza kama mwanaume… Hizo zingine ni BRA BRA BRA BRA BRA BRA.

Nothing new here hata hapa Kenya ni kunguru wangapi hutombwa ndio wapewe kazi. Hata kama wewe ndio uko in a position to get a beauty puthi with no any liability. Utawacha kweli!!!

I beg to disagree. Whatsoever you do or wish, think of your sisters and mothers to who could be seeking employment somewhere. Would you wish the same?

Puthi was meant for banging.

This is what happens when you “empower” the girl child too much. Growing up to becoming horny beings wakungoja ma sponser na kuhepa hardwork. Our mothers married our fathers then worked hard together but madem siku hizi ni mwanaume awe amejijenga, kukiharibika ufilisike utaachwa. Boy child wacha awe strong na ajue the struggle is real and that mwanume ni bidii.
