Men don't want women to be their equal but want them to go to maandamano

Manosphere guys, should women go for maandamano now that we are espousing traditional values? Just asking but I know they’ll turn up either way because Kenyan women and especially Gen Z don’t believe in male supremacist ideologies. Why’s that? Well if men were such good and amazing leaders,we would never be on the street to begin with. Men can you give such exemplary leadership that women have got no choice left but to respect you?

Why is it that a woman never struggles to listen to her dad and be honestly reverent of his leadership? Is it just because he’s a man? Or is it because she knows he’s got her back. So the real issue here is one of a trust deficit. Whenever men get roles of leadership they take advantage of the people they should lead. You can’t blame women for being feminists when everywhere you turn there’s a man there who’s supposed to lead but he’s not leading, he’s exploiting and abusing those he should lead.

As a feminist I always dreamt of a more egalitarian society. The kind of society a matriarchy would be. The weak would be helped not harmed. The young would be nurtured not vilified. The world would be a safe space for everyone. Your race would not matter more than your gifts. We would all cherish our shared humanity. It would be the end of wars, genocides, femicides, homicides and all crime. You wouldn’t cage yourself in your house every night because if you don’t, someone may rape you and steal your property.

Let me snap out of that dream fast because it’s a man’s world and the biggest man in the country has abducted at least ten young men this week alone. A man drunk with power. Legacy built on the blood of innocents. It’s time to inhale teargas again because men who are the majority in leadership have failed us. I still have faith that one day, society can be more egalitarian. Aluta Continua.
