A chilling image shows two men laughing, singing, and dancing together just hours before they dr*gged, r**ed, and mrdered 24-year-old Calum Simpson, a young father of four whose newest baby was only 11 days old at the time.
In November 2021, Simpson was unknowingly given Etizolam by 27-year-old Dylan Brister and 21-year-old Cameron Allan. Once the drug took effect, the pair carried out a prolonged assault, later trying to hide what they had done by deleting video footage from their phones.
When questioned by police, Brister and Allan falsely claimed that Simpson had been conscious and consenting. Investigators quickly disproved their story, uncovering the deleted recordings and establishing the truth of what happened.
Both men have since been sentenced to life in prison, bringing some measure of justice to a crime that devastated Simpson’s young family and shocked the community.
