Heheheeee 10 and they are all about fast processing and power saving. Arranged in a tri-cluster formation it can shut down some to save power and operate as quad core. Hii ni mambo byad.

Most phones siku hizi have like 6, 8 or 10 cores kwa processors. They are called Big.Little cores. Kwa wale wanashangaa simu inafanya nini na cores nane na i7 yako ni cores nne pekee… The big cores are the faster and powerful cores used for intensive tasks like web browsing ama zile power hungry tasks. The little cores are used for less intensive tasks. The Big.Little architecture was designed in a way that when then phone is on standby for example, very few tasks run so the power hungry big cores would be switched off and the power saving little cores would be used. Big for heavy tasks and little for less intensive tasks. Sometimes also they are used together is what is known as Heterogeneous MultiProcessing. For this HMP to work well kuna kitu inaitwa scheduler kwa Kernel. Scheduler determines what cpu load an app will need and assigns it a core. The main reason for big little ni power efficiency and not performance.
Most Snapdragon processors use Arm twin cluster Big.Little but mtk pushed the boundaries hapa with their tri… Using my explanation I hope you know why ziko tatu and what each does.
Ukitaka kuchezea settings za Kernel to mess with these cores then root your device and use Kernel auditor or Ex Kernel manager.

Good tutorial.
I was on Jumia earlier, and made an observation. A 5", 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM 4G enabled phone going for Kshs 5,000.
How on earth, at that price is this possible?
