a Clean pair of hands that are have not associated with or participated in any form of bloodshed of the Kenyan people.
They must be blemish free in terms of personal character , integrity and free of any criminal record. -
a clear vision and articulated mission on what exactly he / she wants to achieve for the Kenyan people over a single 5 year period.
( ..an additional 5 year term of office should be permanently removed from our Constitution to avoid the temptation to aquire illegal wealth incumbency of that Office.
Kenyans have plenty of good options among our 54 million citizens..). -
a verifiable track record of achievements and dedication towards public service in their current life and occupation.

According to Senator Omtatah , Kenyaβs problems lie in failure by its leadership, and generally Kenyans, to observe the laws that they have put in place.
