@Eng_iti I know nowadays you feel good imagining that kenya will finally have a kisii president. Unfortunately, that is not about to happen so please drop those fantasies. Here are some realities about the kisii community and its two pretenders- matiangi and maraga:
1First off, Matiangi and Maraga like many other kisiis are SDAs. SDAs are theological heretics in the same whatsapp group with other heretical cults like Jehova witnesses. Kenyans are not ready to be led by heretical Christians. If the two want to be considered presidential materials in the future, they should join either babas Anglican or Rutos AIC.
2)The kisii community doesn’t have what it takes to produce a president. Kisiis have not been active in quest for good governance in the country. They have been lukewarm. They should first become active participants in quest for good governance before they can be considered for top seat. When other kenyans were fighting for independence and moi dictatorship, the kisiis were just eating bananas and sleeping.
3)Again, kisiis like kambas are class B tribe. They don’t have the numbers to capture the presidency. Their work is to serve as sidekicks of bigger tribes. Kisiis-like kambas- should align themselves with Luos and baba instead of thinking of standing on their own.
4)Still, so many horrible things happen in kisii. I don’t know why kisiis are so keen to be the Florida of Kenya- witchcraft, weird murders and some other crazy stuff. This disqualifies them from contesting the presidency. They should first get their moral compasses straight before imagining of leading other Kenyans.
5) Kisiis are also striving hard to match Okuyus crookedness. Having a kisii president would simply mean having yet another Okuyu-like system of corruption and tribalism. Heck, even Kisii women are striving to catch up with okuyu women when it comes to promiscuity.
Engiti, in short, you kisiis should not overrate yourselves. You should forget about the presidency and support Ruto and Raila. That is the only way you can be assured of getting some benefits from the government. Before you imagine of producing a president, the Luos and Luyhas must first produce presidents.
And I think it is the high time the Ruto ensured both matiangi and maraga are charged for corruption they presided over when they occupied public offices. That will make them drop those fantasies of being a president.
Engiti, sorry to burst your bubble matiangi and maraga are nonstarters. You will not live to see a Kisii being a president in Kenya but hopefully your great grandkids will one day have a kisii president. Matiangi and maraga will only succeed in leading you into political wilderness. Matiangi is a dictator and maraga is quite clueless on matters governance. In fact, maraga should be using his experience to sort out land disputes in his village while writing his memoirs.
