Shaka’s people weren’t living in a globalized world. Wangui is in a parliament where shes supposed to check the excesses her national government and enact laws which must address both local and national issues. The late Gachagua said she usually has no clue on proceedings in the house due to her poor grasp of English. Very sad.

Wambui’s selling point is her humility. Huwes skia akitusiana hata siku moja. Even when pharmacists are mentioned, she glosses over the idea and asks people to continue working. That is the hallmark of a brilliant person.
But then again, maybe it is because she cannot express herself adequately in English and Swahili. Pengine angejua kuongea kwa kingereza, ni matusi ndio angetupa.
