Marindi Robbed of Ksh700, 000 After Inside Job From Bank Teller...

A retiree lost Ksh700,000 to a gang of robbers who trailed him from the bank to his home.
63-year-old Alphonce Marindi did not sustain any injuries during the incident but was left in shock. Marindi, a pensioner, said he was robbed moments after he withdrew the money which he said was proceeds from a land sale. Marindi told the police that a bank teller had asked him to go get the land sale agreement before he could okay the transaction. It was then that he proceeded home to get the documents.

Kenyan currency notes.

Marindi noted that he found the documents later that afternoon, before heading back to the bank to withdraw the money.
After completing the transaction and withdrawing the entire sum, he left the bank and headed back home.
“Immediately I got home, a grey saloon car pulled over in my compound. Four men, all armed and holding radio cells, descended on me and pulled me inside the car in a chokehold. They handcuffed me and drove off,” said Marindi who was later found abandoned at Tande, Malava.

“I couldn’t see the registration number of the vehicle because the occupants had covered the number plate with a newspaper,” said Malava.
Marindi reported the matter to Malava Police Station. Samuel Kimutai, the Head of DCI, Malava confirmed.
“We got the robbery report and have begun investigations into the case,” said Kimutai.

On Tuesday, January 19, a mob beat up three robbery suspects who are alleged to have robbed a man of Sh320,000 as he left a bank in Nairobi.
The three suspects were rescued from the angry mob by police officers. They were rushed to Mbagathi hospital after they sustained injuries inflicted by the angry mob.

It can also be his relatives who knew he had gone to withdraw money

Sadness of life

Sasa weweee, uko na ya kunyaganywoo kweli.
Jitahidi kuuza.mkoosh huko kwa Abdul atleast urudi na pension ya maana

Umbwa si ata unaangalia chenye unapaste

guys need to normalize walking around without cash, kuna mpesa, mshwari, kcb mpesa etc, even pesalink can transact up to 1m per day bila kuitishwa documents.

The cops ndio hucheza hizo games sana. When withdrawing huge amounts of money. Have multiple vehicles and never go home until after a month.

Unachukua gari unaingia place kama mall unapanda Uber ingine. Inakuweka place ingine unapanda ingine.

Travelling with that kind of money is calling death

People should normalize cashless transactions. Nowadays you can even walk around with ~600K in your phone. ~300K in Mshwari and ~300K in your normal Mpesa.

Only the sleek Okuyos can afford to do that,Jengs like you will spend it all on our yellow yellow pretty things

@Electronics4u inside people kama @LIEN wafanyiwe infestigations

Money is for spending. You should be making money to spend it. Most Okuyus spend their whole lives toiling only for their kids to wreck everything they built in one generation. If I give examples I will spend the whole day typing. Such a twisted philosophy towards life. Sad!!!

Unajaribu kusema nini khocha??

Why did he withdraw all of it. The cops will get some of it too and the case will disappear.

Safi rich kid, sisi wengine tuna namna zetu
